The identity of the Support Association for the Empowerment of Women

We are a local association and a Jordanian initiative concerned with preparing, supporting and empowering women socially, economically and politically.
And legally, in a way that enhances its role and develops its performance in the family and society within a society based on equal opportunities and equality.

  • Legal, Social, and Psychological Counseling Helpline Program for Girls and Women: This program offers consultations by lawyers, social counsellors, and highly skilled psychologists to women facing various challenges. These challenges could arise within their families, workplaces, or communities. Consultations are accessible through the official support association page or in-person visits to the support association’s office, ensuring utmost privacy, confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality.

Women Workers and Producers Support Center Program: This program provides legal and psychological women’s support for women, primarily enhancing women’s economic participation in the Jordanian labour market and the production sector. Women are equipped with essential skills to enter the job market, start small businesses, and effectively market their products. This support is facilitated by experts specializing in business management, project development, and marketing, all of whom recognize the vital role of women in the workforce.

Women’s Political Participation Promotion Program: This program aims to empower women to access decision-making positions at all levels of governance, positively influencing their active political involvement across different regions of the Kingdom. Women are equipped with the fundamental skills required for political engagement, including negotiation and persuasion, through various activities such as discussion forums, consultation sessions, conferences, and awareness-raising initiatives.

Women’s Studies Program: The focus of this program is to monitor and understand the various forms of violence experienced by women. It does so through the execution of studies aimed at identifying root causes and assessing the impact of such violence on women’s civil, political, social, economic, and cultural rights within both family and societal contexts.
